Lunch break is the relief time in the day work where we can have food and chat with friends. I love it a lot and will always be looking for it. :)
we have a break of 1 hour and spend it fully in the canteen with friends eating and chatting. what about you people? do you eat in canteen or get your own home food?

We usually have a lunch break of one and a half hours. But its not a constraint as such. We spend our time chatting even inside our work place or at recreation room etc along with canteen, whenever we are less loaded on work. The work culture in our office provides us with full freedom to they way we can spend our time off. But this never means the we go overboard with the relaxation on the rules that are peovided to us. Its our own ethics that we work hard and enjoy to the fullest at office

Where I work we have an hour for lunch on Weekdays and 30 minutes for Saturdays.
Usually I get food at home but when I can't get home cooked food I go out and buy food and take the rest of my lunch break and walk around the malls in the little city and stuff.
I work in a small retail store and they don't really have an official canteen. But I don't stay in to eat lunch anymore because the boss lady sees it as an opportunity to get us to do stuff like if the phone rings please answer it. Once while I was eating lunch she made me leave it to go look for something which I told her we have no more of. But because I was one of the newer workers she did not believe me. When the supervisor came back from lunch break we asked her cause she knows all the stocks and stuff off hand and she said it had none. That pissed me off to no end and from then on I started taking all my lunch breaks away from the workplace.
Whether I eat at home or in a fast food restaurant.

I go home for lunch. The longest I would take for the lunch break is 30 mins...
