One time I laughed so hard I chipped a tooth.
I felt a weird grinding feeling in my mouth.
Turns out one of my side teeth had clipped
off the edge of an upper tooth.
Fortunately, the chipped tooth was at the side
of my mouth, out of sight. And no nerve damage was done.
But I still had a really sharp edge on my tooth.
Bit my tongue a couple times, before it finally
ground down.
Have you ever chipped a tooth?

My lad chipped his tooth on the door of a railway carriage,it was sort of his fault though,he was leaning out of the door glass, and it just jumped up and smaked him in the mouth,he was in shock and when he took a look he had chipped his front tooth, there was little he could about it,he went to the dentist but it could not be filed,so he still has the chip

My daughter is always leaning off of stuff!
I'm always so afraid she will break a tooth or worse.

When I was about 6 years old I chipped one of my newly grown in adult teeth. I was on the teeter-totter at recess with a boy in my class. The whistle blew for recess to be over and he got up off of the teeter-totter while I was still up in the air. I went crashing down and knocked my face on the handle of the teeter-totter. I chipped my bottom center tooth. I never did get it fixed so I have this little chip out of that tooth still.
A few days later I was on the same teeter-totter with the same boy and this time he got a splinter in his BUTT!

not me, but my son has chipped his front two teeth more than a couple of times lol, the last time which was about 6months ago, he was waiting to leave the class and was rolling his football on the table using his head (possible bored lol) when he lost control of the ball and smacked his mouth on the table, resulted in them both being chipped so badly that i had to take him striaght to a dentist, where he was injected to numb the pain of them being filed filled and capped.
My daughter also chipped a front tooth when she fell over at school, that was quite straight forward to cap so she was back to her pretty smile the same day lol

I remember chipping a tooth a few years ago. I didn't realize I had done it until I ran my tongue over my teeth and one of them felt a bit different. My mother has accidentally chipped a few of her teeth in the past year or so. She is bedridden and has Lou Gehrig's Disease. She can no longer swallow, so she uses a suction device (like a dentist uses) to clear saliva from her mouth. A few times she inadvertantly chipped her teeth while bringing the suction device to her mouth. Since my parents' 50th (golden) anniversary was approaching, I jokingly suggested Mom should get some gold teeth!
