reading a book is relaxing and is educational..I have been learning English language much better through reading books..try it sometimes it is fun and makes you practice how good you are in imagining things that you are reading..

Hi kc..
Before I got pregnant with my second, I bought these novel series about Rapture..i got 6 of them in sequence and got to finish only 4 books..The other 2, I still haven't read them yet because I kinda lost interest in reading after I gave birth. Guess, it's because having a new baby takes all of my time..
But, I do hope to finish them when given a chance and long spare time because it is a really good story...

Many times, we buy things that we mostly ignored, that includes books. My sister and I love to share books but we end up buying a lot of them without even reading. We read first the books which she likes o i liked. I sometimes buy books from BOOKSALE even without thinking if i'll be reading, using or be really benefiting from it. But a book will always be a book.

Definitely! I purchased a few books earlier last month, thinking that I could make them count as my summer fun reading, but NO, it hasn't worked out that way. Out of those books, I've only finished one so far and I just can't find the time to get through the rest of them. It's really frustrating, and I'm trying to keep myself interested in them but it's hard when you don't think about the books all the time

Yes, it's happened to me often. I'll find a book (often a few at a time) that interests me at a discount (used or on sale). Usually, when I buy the book (or books), I'm usually reading something else at the time or I have so much work to do that I don't have time. There is a benefit to this though. If I continue at this rate, I will always have reading material. ;)

Hi kaezy_kulet, I bought two books by "James Van Praagh" and I still haven't had the time to sit down and read them. I have to be comfortable, in a quiet place to enjoy the book and too many things just keep popping up lately. Oh well, hopefully sometime soon.

I've only owned one book so far, and my mom bought that book for me when i was around 9-10 yrs old.. lol =D The title of the book was, Pretty woman.. lol =D ANd i dun even understand why she will buy such a book for me and it's also too complicated for me at that age to understand what the whole story is all about.. haha.. IN the end, i took almost 2 years to finish the whole book..
ANd since then, i din buy anymore books to read, and my mom din buy any for me too.. lol

I have. It's called next. It was on sale, plus on the the bestsellers list so I bought it last year. I tried reading the first chapter but wasn't entertained so I never got around to finishing it. It's really such a waste of money! I shouldn't have bought it. Good thing it was on sale, otherwise I'd be really really sorry. Maybe I'll read it in the future if I have nothing else better to do.

Hi! Well I've never had the same experience. Because whenever I buy a book or any reading materials like magazine, I would read it right away even while I'm on the bus on my way home. I'm always excited to read new books and I would always do the reading in the bus. You know the traffic situation here in our country! So instead of getting bored, I would read and really there are times that I am already running out of books to read.

Well does e-books count? I have a lot of e-books but I can't find the time to read them. I have an e-book of The Count of Monte-Cristo in French but I wasn't able to finish it because I was really cramming for my thesis about that. I also have a lot of "Classic" Magic trick Books that I don't read very much because of the lack of illustrations. Also I don't find time to read them because I'm busy most of the time practicing new tricks.

Have I ever !! I really love to read, but don't get much time for it. I have small children who just keep me so busy. By the time they go to bed, I can attempt to read, and end up falling asleep on the first page every time.
I have about 10 new books that I have bought since the two youngest were born, and probably will keep buying them. I'll catch up and have them all read eventually.
I also plan to continue to buy more books, whenever I see new ones out by authors I like, I buy the books.
Happy reading, and I hope you soon get time to read your new book.
