Have you ever been disappointed to see 0 response for a discussion you started?

yeah of course I will be very disappointed. I picked topic really carefully so that it can be an interesting discussion, but it is end up in no responses discussion, where some people with one line topic got answered even their topic has no meaning at all. But that should be a better learning, it is very possible that my topic isn't quite interesting for some people, that way i will learn and boarden my knowledge so that I will be able to make some other more interesting topics :)

I feel so happy whenever I see several responses to my discussions. But when I my post has no response at all, I worry bit and thought of my post as a difficult one to answer. But above all, I still hope that, one day, someone who can relate to it will post his or her reply to it.

Hi there smilyn, Yes, sometimes i am dissapointed when i don't have any responses, But i will wait till someone come and respond my discussion. I'll be happy to respond the person discussion so that we both can be very happy. Happy posting my friend !! oxox'dian

i must say always i am disappointed to see 0 response. just today i started a discussion and it has zero response till now. its very bad feeling. if you can help me having a response at least.

Yeah, it's disgusting; and like someone up there said, principally when ohter person starts a discussion that's equal yours and gets a lot of responses..

i always start discussions only when i am in need of information and till now its was good as i never got a 0 response ... but recently i had one discussion where there was no response till now ... i am disappointed because the discussion was a very helpful one and if there was an answer given to it, we would all earn decent money. anyways maybe those who had an answer thought it was a secret so it should be kept a secret and those who did not have an answer saw no point in responding to that discussion.

Hey, Yes i do feel dissapointed at times but then i feel that i could not provide enough information or the topic has no interests for th users here. Actually this is quite interesting like where we all r from differant part of the world where the same things may be called by a differant name and so on. So its quite necessary to provide a good explanation of what u r tryoing to say. And failing which may get u 0 response, lol. Well liked that way u wrote 0 response here. Hi my friend. Of course i will very disappoint about that and i think everybody will do. In fact most of my disussions have 0 response.So i like to respond discussions.

I have had discussions with zero responses but after a while it picks up. Maybe in a week or so someone will put in a reply, but still it's quite disappointing. So I just check the discussions I've started after a week or so. Or when there's nothing else to do on myLot. That way, I don't feel bad and discouraged.So far though all the discussions I've started have responses.

At first i used to be disappointed when I saw I had zero responses. Now it does not bother me. I have noticed I may make a discussion and someone makes the same discussion after me and they get a lot of responses whereas I got none. Many mylotter's have loyal friends who will respond to their discussions and they to their's. I guess I haven't reached the point where my friends are loyal That's okay, I still will post a discussion that I think is interesting, and I get responses that's a plus, if I do not get responses, then, oh well I tried. Just now i checked all the discussions that i started and i have alot of it that has no one responded.I am just wondering why?Might be no one is interested in my topic.Actually i am not disappointed i am just happy that i could able to participate in this community.I had started a topic that interest me and share to others.So its fine with me if they can't relate to my topic but i believe that one day they can make a response to them.

My friend,this topic is really interested.I have met this problem just yesterday,I start a discussion with the topic: cooking" But till now, i have not get one response.I think the topic is interesting to me. But i really don't understand why people don't respond it? I was wondering do all people are weak at cooking..lol.Maybe it is my problem.But in any way,i will wait to see who will respond it firstly..hehe good luck

It has never happened to me but considering there's a lot of people on Mylot it's not weird if you get zero responses on some if you post many discussions. I rather they limit the amount of discussions people can create each day and you will probably see a large increase in responses than again you could just do like some users (I dislike) and type something like WHY WON'T ANYONE REPLY CRY CRY CRY and you will get 20 responses right away for posting whatever.

hey , i'm a to new newbie to know this and din't post more then 3 topics or smth so my opinion is to comment as much as possible and add a good deal of high ranked profiles as a friend :-) if i posted without a single respons i'll be a little sissapointed , but like my mother alsways told me never give up EVER ...... yours trully chrisone

Yeah sure-I put a lot of thought to my posts and see it go for 6 months without any response is rather embarrassing-it huts me a lot!

I has bothered me a little. Mostly because then you have what mylot terms Unresolved discussions and it is rather hard to resolve them if no one responds. As to friends I have them and respond here and there. Some of us have very very busy lives especially in summer months like here in the USA. So we might be days or weeks not getting on mylot and other sites. So friends leave because you don't respond to their discussions daily. For some this is not practical or possible. But I have friends who stay loyal and seems I must have enough response and discussion that people do respond. I have been here two years and have not yet met my goal because not on as much as I would like to be. But getting pretty close to meeting my goal and pay out now. I am sure if I could be on daily or even 3 times a week I would have reached it long ago.

It would feel really good to see other people got perked up with my discussion, that would mean they find me interesting as I only post discussions that are related to my life. Well, I have some discussions that no one bothered to reply though and I understand why, other people would rather read about happy and exalting discussions than pay attention to gloomy and sad ones, which more or less the kind of discussion that I post here in mylot. I respect other's digs and wants so I'm generally not surprised if I get a zero response. I'm just thankful for a chance to get my grief out of my system through this site and of course to discuss on things that matter... Thanks for a great discussion... Happy posting!

I don't get disappointed, I feel sad about it. It just that I thought for almost a month being a member here, I already gained some loyal friends who will respond to my discussion. Well, I respond to theirs so it really feels bad. But since I am just new here, I thought maybe because I have not meet yet those friends that will truly appreciate my thoughts. But now that I already received more than 10 Best Response, I don't feel bad anymore. I just think that maybe I posted a discussion that does not really interest them. So, no hard feelings now.

yeah this is true tat sometimes i really got disappointed when no body made responses.
