Crying has a beneficial effect to our body aside from the tears that cleanse our eyes.
On my part, I seldomly cry but when I cry, it's really loud. No kidding. It's so annoying that I can't sometimes control it. You'll be embarrassed if you were with me. But anyway, When was the last time you CRIED OUT LOUD and what made you cry?

I cried because I missed a very important person, but I can't see him any more!

I learned that depending on your emotions, your tears have different chemicals in them. We feel better after we cry, because we release the excess toxins in our body,
I don't cry in front of anyone. Sometimes tears fall, other times I wail and keen.
I cry because I am sad and lonely and I don't see how my life will ever change. I cry because I lost someone I loved, and I cry because I know that someone was not worthy of my love, but I loved him just the same.
I hate crying. It only gets your pillow wet.

like you, i barely cry. tears fall because of yawning but as for tears due to emotions, i rarely do that. i remembered by little brother asking me why i did not cry at my grandpa's wake and burial--i just starred blankly at him without uttering any word.
the following day, while i was taking bath, i felt tears fall down all of a sudden. i tried to silently cried by turning on the shower to its strongest. it is not that i cry too loud, but for me, i think crying reflects a person's weakness. i know this view is nothing but wrong. however, this was how i was brought up. (blame my dad)
