How do you get motivated?

We had several health-related emergencies last week, so I'm behind on everything.
Here's my list:
-- Laundry that I need to do and move around.
-- Finish cleaning the kitchen.
-- Clean the couches more.
-- Vacuum.
-- Unload the dishwasher once it's dry.
-- Collect the garbage to put out to the curb.
It's really not that much to do, but I usually don't have so much of each task to do every day. I usually do a load of laundry one day, take it upstairs and put it away, and have a couple of days before I need to do it again. Since things piled up, it seems so much more than it is.
Of course, I did manage to make some mailers and package up the orders I had from my etsy shop this morning! That didn't require any push. I'll probably wait until the mail comes and get cracking.
What do you have to do today? How are you going to get motivated?

I know alot of us it's hard to get motivated for I am one of them that I canadmit. My biggest down fall is when I get up I will log onto mylot then get so deeply involved that I know I have other things that need to be done. Once I actually get myself to get up and do what I have to like today I had to change the cat litter box,put dishes away, take the trash out, vaccume, ect. I never even got started on any of this til like 10am for I procrastinated for quite some time. I managed to get 1/2 of it done and will take a break then go back and do some more in a while.
I will useally get some good tunes on while I do this for it put's me in the mood to want to get it done.

The computer is a huge time sucker for me and a great way to avoid things. I know I'm doing it, though, so I've been making an hour each morning dedicated to computer stuff. It makes it easier to go do other things. Good luck with your list! I just finished the cat box.

We have a saying "A clean house is a Happy house." I know I have fallen behind when my 5 year old starts chanting. Then I have to get off my butt and hop to. Thats hard to do when pregnant and tired.

What a reminder! I can imagine that it's about twenty times the work when you're pregnant and juggling a 5 year old.
