Madam president talks well, but I'm not too sure of much she has stated. I liked her announcement on the peace talks with our country men/women at Mindanao and that the SMS chargers will drop to 50 centavos per 160 characters but I was sad to know that it would only last for a couple of months. I do agree with her not taking out the EVAT though. If she takes that out then there would be less funds for the government and this could result to a bigger problem than what we have now. Most of us are blaming her but I say she isn't the real one to blame. She is just a scapegoat if you ask me. Over all, given the current situation of our beloved country the SONA didn't go bad and it was a success, she got to deliver her little speech. But sadly it does not mean that all our problems are over.

sona is a way of the president to "win back the people", make excuses for her corruption or should i say her husband's corruption. i do not believe the words that came out of her mouth from that sona thing. let us just see in a couple of months if she could lower the prices of rice, let the government, especially her husband, officials who have been "tainted" or have been found corrupting the people pay for their crime. it seems that she is covering up their corruption. boy! when will this filipino ever find a non corrupt government. why cant they elect a good president and good government? why not eradicate a corrupt president?
