Amtrak

I've taken the train from Richmond, Va to New York City. That wasn't too bad of a trip, pretty much all day though. It was my first and only time taking the train, so it was really cool but I' not sure I would do it again. We have always driven, so it just feels weird not being able to get off an exit and grab something to eat, you have to wait until there is room in the meal car.

It's been quite a long time but I took Amtrak from Washington, D.C. to Chicago and had a very nice experience on the train. I made a friend while enroute who was visiting from overseas and going wherever her heart decided to take her. I've also flown many times and have to say that flying is much faster and many times less expensive than taking the train.
