do you think people would consider it an adventure, something of interest, something to learn from, or boring to where it would be a waste of time to read? Do you even ever stop to think about this as well? Is there things in your life you would rather keep hidden from the world, or would Love to share with others just to let them know who you really are? For me, I look back upon my life, and there are many things in it that I would tend to consider an adventure, and some things others could learn from. I have gone thru some things in my life actually I have considered Writing a book on just to help be an inspiration to others who might go thru some of those same things in life as well. So what about you... Do you think your life would be worth it to Write about, or have someone else write about you as well?

It would depend on which angle they wrote it from. If they wrote about what I do from day to day, I would even get bored reading about it. However, if they wrote about what goes on in my head, then it would prove to be something of interest. I'm currently writing something that started off in my imagination at the age of ten, and is still influenced by it to this day. If people knew what went on in my head, I would encourage them to write about it as well.

Thank you for posting your reply the way you did. I was just sitting here thinking, "Oh, if someone wrote about my actual life, it would never sell. That poor author. Now, if someone was to write what I was thinking at any given moment.....that just might be something to read." *L*

If I were to write a book about my life so far (I've only been on this Earth 27 years) it would definitely be an interesting drama. There are parts of it that would be inspiring, like when I fought for my insurance license for nine long months. But there would also be parts that I am not so proud of, like dealing with my children's father for so long, and the theatrics I went through to keep him as long as I did. It would be funny, and sometimes touching, but all in all it would be a good book that no one would be able to put down.

This is a very interesting question. I have always been somewhat of an adventurer and my life has been very different in many ways from the daily norm but at the same time I have experienced many of the same things as most people. I think that if I wrote down all of my experiences it would be interesting to many people. There are many things that I would be happy to share and a few things that would be hard to share with the world. Overall, I have had a good and interesting life. I keep thinking about writing a book, but I haven't yet.

Well...I think that people would not believe that one person could have had so many strange things happen to her...and still be sane. And still love people. And still be happy-go-lucky. I guess they would think it was fictional - and probably bad fiction.

i have diffrent blogs describing my life as a whole..but if someone will write a book of my life i would say it will be inspirational book..i find my struggles sometimes unbelievable anduntil now i cant believe that i am what i have become...i always say that i have gone through hell but God lift me up and place me with right people at the right place.. it will be a story of survival and achieving your dreams even it seems to be impossible... the lesson for that will be impossible is nothing with God and with someone who have a passion of achieving her dream.. oh my i am about to cry with this post...nice thread..

I think a story about my life would be something motivational to others, I have to say that through the past years of my life, I have been through a lot, and I passed all of those obstacles, and I am continuing, at this time, to rebuild my life from scratch. I would most likely not like to write about myself, but I would give any and all information needed to another person that wanted to write about me. If I were to write it myself, I would feel big headed...

hi krause! i think no one would want to write about my life. ^__^;; even if it has a few interesting times, happy times, funny times, i think it is not worth to be written in a book. there's just no... how do i say this... you know, big things that are usually found in a book. no major upheavals, no big problems, no turning points, no major dilemma. my life is just ordinary. but if i was the one to write my own life, an autobiography or something, the book will come out as a comic book full of silly stuffs and a little drama. ^__^;; there's a few adventures too but i'd probably write the silly stuffs i did during those adventures. if there are dramas, well, there will be dramas, i'd make it sound funny and write the lighter side of it. i think if i were to write a book about my own life, i'm sure people who would read it will have a smile or two or probably grin and laugh.

I have done some interesting things in my life but there is a period that I would not want to talk about to anyone. There are some things better left unsaid.

Uhmmm... well, I have a friend who's really good in writing poems and short stories and asked me one day if I wanna sell my life story to her so she can write a book about it. She's asking because she knows I'm planning to try writing as well and I wanna publish my life story as well. She wants to make sure there'll be no "duplicate" of stories in the market. She was disappointed when I said no. I told her , if she's willing to wait, I'm giving it a try and if I really can't publish within two years, I'm giving her free reign in writing about my life. That means my life is interesting huh? I'm not sure though if it would perk everybody's interest, maybe if the writer is like Jeffrey Archer or Barbara Taylor Bradford who are really good in spinning tales... maybe. But with my own words, the story might sound boring. But if ever I'll published, it will definitely be a light-comedy, heavy-drama story, as I've seen my life tragically funny. :) Thanks for a great discussion. Happy mylotting!

It would definatly be worth writting bout if someone could write in a way where people were eager to read it. I think there are alot of things that have happened in my life people would find interesting and somewhat captivating bout i would rather write it as a fiction and have people believe it was made up or only based on true events or something, some of the events i would feel uncomfortable speaking about if EVERYONE knew it was true, it could create unwanted attention.

My life is just very normal and sometimes will a bit boring. I don't think it's worth to write my life story. I might write my life story just for my memory when I'm old in the future.

my life is'nt as extraordinary as others who have been featured in real-life inspiration shows they show in tv, or those who have featured in time mag, or in reader's digest. But when I look back, though I'm young, though I may not even reached that far yet. There is always a story to tell, and a lesson to learn. Let's say that my life wouldn't even be considered book material. But, if written in a manner which it may focus how I grew up, how I'm getting along, and what would I do to get somewhere, I think it may be interesting enough to cover pages. Consider this, older people have more experiences. More sentimental things they could share and pass on, why would they read something about a young girl? Or maybe...a teenager, who is popular, who has the world upon her finger, would even consider reading about me? ...that would make you curious.. =)

Personally i think that if someone was to write a book about me it would be awesome... however if i read it and they got you all wrong i would be a bit annoyed but yeh i would like to have a book written about me... although there isnt that much of my life that's very interesting and most likely would be a bit boring to read in some parts

If someone were to write anything about my life, it would be a soap opera!! LOL The way this past week has been... everything's gone absoluely haywire around here. My huband wries screenplay. Maybe he could write a soap opera about our lives, and pitch it to one of the big networks. It would sure ear us a lot o money. :) Imagine all he cash we could make from a good soap opera.

If someone wanted a story about my life, they had better run for cover. My life is such that I do not want anyone to know about it other than the pieces I have told here on mylot or to my closest bosom friends. It is a story that is full of self-recriminations and sinful behavior, of punishments more than I could bear, and of someone who felt that she was being punished for her mistakes overwhelmingly. Unless you can wave a magic wand and make things right, please do not write a story about my life. I want a happy ending, not just in eternity, but on this earth.

What a lovely and inspiring question. I have never thought of turning my own life into a story. But the struggle to have a baby would be one of the most interesting parts of my life. Also I'm entering a stage where I may be going back into college. That will be very exciting. I have traveled a lot. Once I slept in a car when I couldn't afford a hotel while moving. Of course, this was ten years before I had my daughter. Now if I didn't have money for hotel, I'd sell a couple pints of my own blood to make the money! She is the biggest inspiration and motivator in my life! Thanks for the question. Have a super day!

I feel as if everyone has something to share whether they want to believe it or admit it or not. I know that there are things that I would want to hide away from people you can call them adventures. However, I know that to truly be an inspiration being honest would be the best thing.

i feel that i am a very driven, motivated, hard working individual, and i would hope that my life story would be one of inspiring others to live their best lives. there are things that i hope to do in my future that would add to the adventure side of things, like travel the world. i have a list of places i would like to see one day, and i can imagine there are countless learning opportunities that await me at corners of the planet. there are definitely things that i keep secret, hidden from loved ones and friends that i obviously would not want disclosed in a movie :) and i can't share them on here, because they wouldn't be secrets any more! i would prefer to write my own life story than have someone else write it because i believe no one could portray it as good as i could, having the insight that i do about my everyday experiences.
