I'm so sorry for coming in so late. Yes I'm a staunch believer of the phrase 'laughing is the best medicine' and always try to steal some moments of laughter from my busy schedule of life.

I also try to do that whenever I get few spare minutes, wherever I'm, whether at office or home or somewhere else.

No problem my friend, it is better late than never. I too loves to laugh for this makes my day better than to feel bad. There maybe days that is really too tiring but if we take time to laugh it eases out the stress and the tiredness that I feel. At time I just even laugh at myself for the mistakes that I have made to lighten the mood.

and less sick... they are unlikely to get sick... laughter builds up the immune system. it only weakens through sadness and depression... not forget about stress which is indirectly related to both

hi there...i agree. through laughter our brain gets a dose of endorphines which makes us happy. too low on endorphines can make us sad and depress... they say you can get it from laughing or from exericisse.. im am lazy to do exercise so i read funny things and watch funny movies instead. if i feel sad, i will also grab hold of a bar of chocolate. the serotonin content has the same effect as endorphines. now i am craving for a big slice of chocolate cake... ahahhahahaha

I love to laugh. i feel it does make one feel better, especially if they are going through something stressful. It's nothing like having a good, hearty laugh. That is why I love comedies, and the comic strips, and one of the things I love about my sweetie is his ability to make me laugh, even when i'm sad.

I definitely feel that laughter is good medicine. I know if I have a really good laugh my stomach kind of hurts but in the end it seems to make me feel better as a whole. They say it is a healthy thing to laugh and smile and we should all probably take the time to laugh once in a while and we might have a better attitude throughout the day.

I do believe in that! It's a personal experience of mine so of course I would believe in it! Hehe laughter is really the best medicine around among all the other medicines. It can cure places and ailments that normal (be it traditional or Western) medicines can't cure! For me, I laugh when I am happy. I laugh when I am sad. I smile when I am angry. It's like I am hiding behind a mask sometimes and only my closest friends are able to see the real me. Many view me as a happy go lucky person with no worries in my life. Lol. Guess I have managed to fool everybody around me, eh? And because of my love for smiling and laughing, I am blessed with smile wrinkles all around my face at a tender young age of 22, making me look like I am already 28. *Faints* But, it's okay. Lol, afterall physical beauty will still fade with time. It's a matter of time whether it's early or later right? To me, laughter and smiles still let me be happy, and for a while, my problems just seem to be so minor at that point of time, which I feel that it's a good thing. It's easier to turn the upside U into a upright one, and work fewer muscles at the same time. And it's always better to have smile wrinkles than frown wrinkles at a older age. Hehe, it makes one looks kinder in our older years. Hehe So, smile and laugh the day ago, and the world will also be a much happier place to live in! Take care and happy mylotting!!

I enjoy the feeling of a good laugh. It must be good medicine because I feel so good afterwards. There is too much seriousness in this world at times. God gave us the ability to laugh so why not do it???

I definitely believe that laughing is a good medicine. Laughing makes things better, it makes things brighter, and more optemistic. Also, studies have shown that when you laugh, your stress levels go down. And stress can make things worse, as many people here have i'm sure experienced. So as a result, laughing is good medicine. I recommend it for everyone.
