music at the fair....

Ok I was at the Fair Saturday night and there was a ride called "Ecstasy" as you can see in the picture it goes around and round and than it goes upside down... As I was watching these people have fun and enjoying the ride the music they were playing was "I wanna die" As they are tipped upside down in the ride... I thought to myself what kind of music is this to be played when they are up there like that... Have you ever been on a ride before they played some kind of song similar to that?

Holy Moly....I don't recall ever being on a ride that had music like that....and I don't think that I would have gone on that ride either.....I just don't think it was appropriate.....yikes....

Hi Feona it was just strange i don't think they meant anything by the song it was one that was probably already loaded in the player, I just found it strange that would even play something like that.. Mainly when all those people were hanging upside down like that.. I said to my sister oh yeah what a song to play when they are like that up in the air...

lol funny Feona, Of course i didn't let it bother me i just thought it was a bit strange to have something like that playing with all the seats filled up and those people hanging upside down like that...

That is the weirdest thing I have ever heard. It's like when your driving on the highway and you're listening to that rock song "I'm on a highway to hell". I don't think I would have rode that thing. Maybe it was funnier than it looked..and people got over the "die" thing..anyway, it's still ":/"

I don't think these people were even listening i heard more screaming than anything really but the song really stuck out that's for sure.. They were playing all kinds of music of course... Thanks for your reply!

I try to avoid rides that play loud music. I woudln't go near a ride ha was playing THAT song!!

I don't blame you, I knew i wasn't going to make any attempts to on that ride after seeing that ride flip like that.. LOL It was fun to watch though that's for sure.. My son was in a ride beside it that was the only reason why i was over in that area.. There was another ride that of course was on a track that went all the way around in a circle.. yet another one i wouldn't want to be on.... Thanks for your reply!

I remember as a teen being on a ride at our State Fair and it was similar to this one, turn you upside down and all around, and they played "Highway to Hell". I remember thinking, "Oh good grief is this really a song I want to go out on if this ride should break!". LOL
I know they try to pick music that will draw crowds to their rides as well as add to the adrenalin rush of it all, but jeez, sometimes their picks are a bit off IMO.

Yeah they are for sure.. I agree I wouldn't want to be up there listening to that and than just more than likely freak out.. I'm sure i would... If something happens it would be like your last song, hopefully that would never happen but after seeing that ride and seeing how it works i knew i wasn't going up on it...It was fun watching it go though... lol thanks for your reply!

Holy Crap - that ride is upside down. No way I could do that. I would loose my lunch for sure on that ride.

lol yes me too, but could you see yourself up there listening to that song while upside down ok only if you were brave enough, Cause god know I'm surely not to any rides like that.. Thanks for your reply!

No I have never been on a ride where they are playing that kind of music. Most of the fairs around here play hip hop music for their rides. I couldn't imagine being up in the air going around and around or up and down and hearing a song belting out.."I wanna die"...that is crazy. Have a good day.

That's just it though it was a hip hop song... than it got into a beat, it was a very strange song or at least i thought so anyway.. But music like that really shouldn't be played on rides like that.. Thanks for your reply!
