do you prefer cats or dogs?

i know that this might not be in the right section but i started to put it in the cats section but thought that i was talking about dogs too and the same for the dog section, so i was just wondering, i have one of both and i really like the cat because its so quiet and it just lays around and sleeps most of the time and sometimes it will play but most time it just sleeps and eats...but then theres the dog that likes to go out and play around and is always full of energy and likes a lot of attention and i like that also someone to play with a lot...and that will warn me when someone is around because a cat doesn't do that so i can't really say which one i like more...so what about all of you, which do you prefer cats or dogs? thanks for taking the time to read my discussion and i hope that you all have a great day today!

I like cat. Very quiet and pleasant in the house, and to me it is a companion in the house , very sincere and sweet. Not that I don't like dogs. Cat is my preference.

I prefer dogs however, currently I have two kittens ( and yes a dog too)

I perfer cats over dogs. Because they do just sleep and eat. Also they clean themselves. Plus I don't have to worry about it tearing things up while I'm gone or going to the bathroom in the floor. Cats seem to be more lovable.

I like both. I have 2 cats and I also live in a second floor apartment which is easier for me not having to go up and down with a dog. My male cat is full of crazy energy and runs and slides all over the place. He's an overgrown kitten. The other cat is an old lady, 16 years old. She sleeps alot and gets chased around once in awhile by the male looking for a playmate. She's not one of his fans so she hisses alot at him. My cat's do go to the door if they hear someone coming up the steps. They are like watch cats at times. I like dogs too, but I can go away for a couple of days and not have to worry about them having to get out for their walks etc. I just fill up their bowls with alot of dry food and they have their litter box and water bowls.

I am definitely a cat person. I have one each, a cat that is mine that I inherited from a lady that I was a caregiver for, and my ex-wife's dog is here. She dropped it off last year for me to watch for "a little while". The don't still here. I don't particularly like domestic dogs, but I get along very well with wild dogs (wolf, coyote). They will both come up to me with no fear in the wild.

i like dogs.i admire their fierce loyalty to their owners.i enjoy their energy and their playfulness.hence,not only do i have a guard,i also have a friend.who could ask for more?

Hi,jhl930.I prefer dogs and in fact I like dogs very much.In my opinion,chihuahua is the most lovely creature in this world.Do you agree with me?
I used to have a dog and I like him very much,but now he has gone.Until now I still often think of his big eyes.You know he is my bestfriend in my childhood and I can't speak any more now...I really miss him so much...
