What is your favorite type of pet bird and why.
My favorite pet bird or birds are cockatiels senagel parrot
and cockatoo. Why well i have had all three and they are
sweet birds. The cockatoo is a funny bird , he is a little
load but he makes a laugh, The senagel he is sweet and alwyas
wants are attetion. cockatiel , he is sweet but more independt
then the other two. Birds are great pets. whats your favorite

Il ove the sound of birds altogether,their song is uplifting,they can make your day.I am more into the song of the wild birds,and look forward to the light and bright mornings when the blackbird,thrush,jay and finches all join together in song

I also Enjoy that myself, my cockatiel can mimick the
sound of the blackbird in the morning . its to funny.

My favorite bird is the Amazon parrot with green feathers and some other brightly colored feathers. There are different types of them like blue fronted for example. I have a white fronted Amazon. He is green with a white patch on his head, read around his eyes and he has a multi colored pair of wings and tail. He is called Bingo and he is about 21 years old. I adore bright, tropical sort of colors that is why I like the Amazon most of all.
My aunt used to have a cockatiel and he was a charming and friendly bird. I love cockatoos like the umbrella cockatoo from Australia. I saw some very friendly ones in Australia. I love the galah, a gray and pink parrot from Australia. I also love the Port Lincoln parakeet from Australia because they are the most colorful birds I have ever seen.

My husband worked for a shop where they spealized in birds
he would help them hand feed them all, and helped raise
them, his three favorite birds where the cockatoo , senegal
parrot, and the amazon parrot. We have two of those birds now,
i know one of these daYS HE WILL TALK ME into the amazon parrot.
We have a goffin cockatoo , the smaller of the cockatoos, he is a sweet
heart, but he does git moody sometimes. I like the sun conure but
my husband says no , they can be mean and nasty when they want to be.
he says they would bite the most. i like all birds i think they are all
beutifull in there own way.

I cannot believe I actually love birds now and own two. I use to consider birds as rats with wings. My mom use to have them and I would run screaming if any moved around. I have a cockatiel named Sunny..he looks like the second one in your picture. He is a sweetie. I really need to spend more time with him. He becomes so loud and screeching if a car pulls in or if he wants something. The parakeet is getting old. He just chills and yells also if he wants something.
My favorite pet is my dog Trey..he is my constant companion.
And a rabbit. All these pets were one of my daughters at one time and I ended up caring for. Well I kind of stole the dog because he stole my heart. I spoil him rotten and love every minute of it.
Sorry, didn't mean to go on so much. It was just nice to hear from someone else that has birds.
Are you an animal lover in general? I am and it seems to grow stronger the older I get.

I have always loved parakeets. I had one since I was 12 on up through college until I got married. A few years ago I got a cockatiel, hand fed, and he was the sweetest most loving bird. He loved being petted and was as bad as a kid who didn't want me to leave him.

I know what you are saying , my cockatiel
is the same way, and he was hanfed also
they are sweet hearts.
