Have you ever pretended you were busy because you couldn't be bothered making real plans? I have tonight a friend called and wanted to come around for drinks. She is cool as and i love her and spending time with her but for some reason i pretended i was going out and wasn't going to be home. I dont have a problem with this person and being around her generally cheers me up. I just wasn't in the mood tonight.
Have you ever pretended you weren't home when a friend has called?
Have you ever pretended you were someone else on the phone so that you didn't have to talk to someone? - i dont that all the time for telemarketers!

yes,i'd done that,but you know what,the person found later got to know about my pretence and it was not easy.

hey job teach me that during eductational life I never did that Job golden rule is look busy and do nothing this is what every employee teach me in office .....it has so deep impact on my life that ....whenever I feel some work is coming I dont like I start doing something else show as if I m busy ha ha ha lol
But sometimes I feel gud othertimes bad also

yeah same but that was the problem if i told her no thanks but not tonight she would think i was angry with her or didn't like to be with her which would never happen at the time it was easier to say i was going out.

you sound like my partner, if he doesn't want his father talking to him (he works on the family farm) he'll get me to say he's alseep or in the shower. he won't talk on the phone unless he has to, so i have to make all the phone calls. bit of a pain really but when only do it when you want to be alone, who cares.

atleast you can understand where i am coming from, i would tell the girl the truth but i know that would offend her if i just said i didn't want to.
