I was always thought to use the right tool for the right job. Searching for an internet just to send text I think is too much.

To me a phone is a phone and the internet is for sending messages, I can understand some text but then again why have the internet if you got all you need on your phone, all your doing is paying twice for internet access and anyone can get your messages through text on a phone, yes this is true anyone that has bluetooth hooked up anyone close that has it can read any message you send.so I will stick to using the mobile phone for phone and internet for sending messages. After all I think it is more personal to talk to someone that to just text them...

Hi, Rahil_Thkr, yeah, I get lots of sms text messages, daily. If I get too many, the cell company charges for them, though. I am glad I do not get as many text messages as I get eMails, though. It is annoying if anyone gets them at school, work, and even at the library, or church...if they go. Sometimes, it is not timed correctly, and could be very upsetting. We are not supposed to even have our phones turned on, at my college. But, when I forget to turn it off, and someone sends a text, I still get yelled at, especially...in the middle of a test, or something important. E-Mail can still be checked on, but usually whenever I want to, not when others want to send the messages to me, which is like a text message is. Plus, not all text messages are free to receive. I think it is kind of rude, anyways...just as rude as receiving a cell call when in the middle of a sentence with one of my best friends...yeah, that is just so upsetting...because, then when the call ends, my friend is gone, and I have forgotten what we were talking about, anyways...However, this is just my opinion. Many others just agree with me, though. Chrystinah, your friend, forever.
