What do you think of Telemarketers?

I dont let telemarketers bother me because you have to view it as them just doing their job and trying to get paid just like everyone else. Most of the time those same telemarketers hate calling people but they need to in order to earn a paycheck. I only get annoyed if I try to be nice and say that I'm not interested and they still keep trying to sell the product to me. Sometimes I do feel like just hanging up but I try not to be rude to people if it really isn't necessary. I guess the only thing they need to learn is when to just take no for an answer.

It does provide jobs for a lot of people all over the world and as well a viable means of marketing for a lot of companies. So for that part its good. On a personal level, I don't want them to call me, as I call the companies that I want to do business with. I have taken the necessary measures to have my name put on the DNC list but this doesn't seem to help as I still get a lot of calls. I try to avoid answering the call if I can, but on the rare time that I pick up the phone I try to be nice and polite and tell the telemarketer that I am not interested for the above reason. But they tend to want to go ahead with there sales pitch, its their job. But I know on the onset that I am not buying or participating in whatever they are calling for so hang up my phone and try to get someone that is interested. And no disrespect to people of other countries, but most times their dialect or accent is to the point that I dont understand half of what they are saying and the only thing they understand seems to be yes or no. That part can be really annoying to me.

They can be annoying atime with their calls at odd times.
