Everyone has the right to it's privacy, but when celebraties use the Media to earn their fame, they can't complaint of being followed all the time!

I dont really think they're entitled to privacy. If they werent celebrities they wouldnt be making all that money in the first place, so obviously the public who loves or hates them are the people who are buying the magazines that publish all of the articles or pictures. I would definitely give up my privacy for the kind of money these celebrities make :)

its not that they wanted fame, more they wanted to be actors. they have a right to there own privacy. how would you like people snooping around your home taking pictures and going thru your rubbish. im sure none of them wanted that

I don’t think it’s fair to assume they were in search of fame and as a result shouldn’t want privacy. Everyone has a right to privacy. They would have wanted to be famous for their trade – being a good actor/actress, winning awards. I’m sure they didn’t cater for being famous for their relationships, break ups, drunken nights, mistakes. Certain things are the realm of private lives, no matter what job they have.

i dont think all of them necessarily become "celebrities" because they want to be in the spotlight. a lot of them start acting or singing because they just enjoy it. but you have to remember that their celebrity status is a part of their professional career. i think they should also be entitled to a private life as well. everyone deserves privacy once in a while.

My views differ. If they just like to sing or act, many singers in the pub are doing what they love-singing-and some are part time jobs. These people don't yearn for fame. They don't lose their privacy, but they still enjoy what they do. That is truly loving their craft.-my 2 cents worth.
thanks very much for sharing your views too! :)

Well, would you want to be someone like Tom Cruise who has made his name really famous thru all of his wonderful movies and want everyone stalking him to get a report of you every time you do something? I feel there is a time and a place, and sometimes they need to be able to lead a private life as well as anyone else does.

Yes they want the fam but be honest who wants people sticking their noses in their private business. they should be able to have both. Everyone needs their privacy no matter what you do for a living.

This is something I wonder a lot. They want to be paid millions of dollars to make movies, but they say "Why can't people leave us alone?". Um, because you plastered yourself all over the place, if you want to be left alone, retire, live off of your millions somewhere where you can be alone, stop whining. I also don't like when celebrities say WE need to do something about AIDS, starvation, what not, when a lot of people are struggling to make ends meet. They have huge disposable incomes, what are they doing?

there is that old adage "be careful what you wish for, you just might get it"...one can imagine what something would be life...being famous...or having millions of dollars to throw around..and it's a wonderful daydream...but the reality is often not nearly as pretty a picture as what we imagined it to be...perhaps the same is true for some of these people.

they yearned for fame as they are paid very generously, yet they despise the attention. and there are some actors/actresses out there who really enjoy acting so much that they couldnt give it up.
