It was a pleasant surprise for me to read some parts of this Gospel,in which Prophet Jesus(pbuh)had clearly predicted by name about arrival of Prophet Muhammad(pbuh)after him by saying:
"........but my consolation is in the coming of the Messenger, who will destroy every false opinion of me,and his face shall spread and shall take hold of the whole world.........The name of Messiah is ADMIRABLE,for God Himself gave him name when had created his soul and placed it in celestial splenour.God said,"wait MOHAMMAD;for thy sake i will to create paradise, the world, and a great multitude of creatures."
What are your views about this Gospel and its predictions ??

well more thing coming in... i guess u got to go further
well you started saying about Jesus foreteling about mohamad... so just wanted you to confirm me where are those quotations taken from?
and if its taken from some book...does it have some authentication as in scientific proof of the manuscript? or atleast about the writer history?
and in your attempt of putting the question whom are you trying to portray? is it mohamad or Jesus?

This is extremely interesting, are there any copies of the Gospel of Barnabas (in English)? I would like to certainly hear the Christian point of view on this issue as most Christians believe it to be unauthentic.

I have noted these verses from internet and given only some of them.I think it should be available in English.I have seen a copy of Urdu translation in my country.Any reader can provide further information about the publishers and stores from where it is available.Similarly this should be avaiable at islamic sites for down loading.Anyway thanks for your reply..........

It is generally accepted that the Gospel of Barnabas originated after the 16th century and should not be considered an authentic account.

Thanks for responding and sharing your informations. And what about name of Muhammad mentioned in the Song Of Solomon chap 5,v-16,which says:
"Hikko Mamittakim we Kullo MUHAMMADAIM Zehdoodehwa Zehracebaynajerusalem"..........
And in English it is:
"His mouth is sweetness itself; He is altogether lovely, this is my lover, this is my friend,O daughter of Jerusalem" (New International version)
Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) also mentioned in the Old Testament(Torah)Book of Isaih Chap 29 v-12:
"the then the book will be given to the one who is illetrate saying," please read this" and he will say,"I cannot read."
(New American Standard Bible)
This thing actually happened to our Holy Prophet(pbuh)when the angel came to him in a cave and asked him this question.
Let's not hide the facts,please..................

Yes, let us certainly not hide the facts.
Song Of Solomon chap 5,v-16
16 His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem. KJV
No mention of Muhammad there.
Isaiah 29 KJV
12And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.
Nice try but read it in context
11And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:
Note the conditional "...is become to you as" making it clear that what follows is descriptive of the condition the people are in not prophesying one to come.
This is further made clear by the following verse
13Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
Now it is indisputably clear that the people are ignoring the teachings of God, they are liken unto a man that cannot read the word.
