hi all, im just wondering if you like to text or talk on the phn, i find it much easier to talk.. i have a plan and i get $279.00 a month free so i use that why text when i have all that to use up..i just find it soo much faster than texting away and i only know a few words cut short so i end up spelling most words out the way they should be.. so do you like to text or talk on you mobile hugsssssss

Hi. I prefer talking over texting. I have a plan in which talking in the service circle is cheaper then messaging and then there are so many sites on internet that provide free messaging service all over the country for free, so why to spend money on them.

I am a very stingy person and I would normally just send an sms message whenever possible. But there are times when I need to get a reply right away and that is the only time I call and talk with someone on the phone.

I still do like to talk but with the high charge of it i will prefer texting. With the P1 charge and the unlimited offers i can text in details all i want to say. In calls, you are limited of it because surely you will be out of load!

It is always better to talk than sending a text message. When we talk, we tend to convey lot of things to the other fellow, which cannot be expressed through a text message. Text message proves handy and useful, when you do not have time to talk or you are held up somewhere.

i agree with every thing you have said, its just way better to talk than trying to text something nd then you dont know if they ever got the msg so its safer to call and get it straight right there and then or as you said text is handy for a short reply.. hugssssssssss

I prefer text as I'm a person who doesn't like to talk much. And is afraid that the person I talk to may not stop talking. That's why I prefer text, its short and simple.

unless I have to call someone or message someone I do not use my cell phone at all,the cost is large, and I have a pay as you go phone,so its to my advantage not to use it too much.I realise that some of the contracts offered by the big companies such as vodafone ,orange,t mobile and virgin can be very good, but it is the monthly outlay thats crippling for me.

Hi Shell Texting is out of my league. The young people seem to have the market on texting. Besides I also prefer to talk. How do you get $279.00 of phone free? Besides I do enough texting on the computer. leenie

honestly i like to talk a lotbecause it is more convenient and clearer to express my meaning to my friends.I think if it is a emergency,i should have to talk to others directly. It is more effective.isn't it? And if in normal communication, i think send the message is necessary due to the cheap fee.lol, in any way, i still prefer talking on my mobile phone. good luck

I do both. I will say that the majority of what is done on my cell is texting though. Sometimes I just need to say a sentance or 2 OR I just don't like the person I need to get ahold of so it's just easier to text so I dont have to hear thier voice. OOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRr I'm sending out a mass-text to multiple people reminding them about an event coming up...

I always prefer , to call, instead of text.Because , it is easier and to the point, less time consuming. On the other hand, I have experienced delay , text messages face, due to network problem,

I like to text more than calling. Here in my country it's expensive to call. But when I have free call, I use it before it expires. Also if I needed to call badly or if I am looking for someone and I have so little time, I call the person even though it's expensive.

I prefer to text. Mainly because I have a hard time hearing on my cell phone. My husband gets irritated at having to repeat things when talking to me. I mostly spell words out entirely to avoid being misunderstood. I do use LOL sometimes because it totally gets the point across.

I like talking in the phone and it is so much easier to do than texting. I believe that Cellphone/Telecom companies have different style when it comes to airtime promo etc. so I make sure I am with the company that gives the best and low airtime rates.. We have a landline phone as well. I just think it help too.. and we use prepaid lines, to maintain our budget.

i guess it depends on the person whom i'm communicating with. if it's someone whom i dont mind talking to or am close to then i'd rather call that person, it's easier that way. you dont need to wait for his/her response and you get to talk more. but i guess it also depends on the circumstances, sometimes we're in situation where we can't talk, can only send text msgs haha.

I hate telephones, to begin with. I hate cellphones even more. HOWEVER, I will not text because that's stupid! Why text for 10 cents when you can actually talk for almost nothing?

I hate telephones too and really hate cellphones. Other than in an emergency or if you need it for business reasons, I still don't understand the need. I get along perfectly well without a cellphone and my wife gets by perfectly well with her pre-paid talk only cellphone. I see no need to be available to people all the time...I'm a private person and not much of a talker.

I don't own a mobile phone but I used to. I got so tired of phone calls I decided to turn it off. Once I turned it back on all I had were 100 voicemails in three days. I eventually cancelled the service and trashed the phone. All people do is talk on the phone and send useless text messages to people they can easily see every day. Cell phones are fine if you have an emergency or need to talk but there is no point in calling your husband, wife, boyfriend, etc. just to tell them your every thought and waste your minutes on something insignificant. There is so much on God's green earth to see and do. Why does some of the population keep letting their lives revolve around this portable device??
