I have 2 daughters, a 12 year old and a 3 year old. My oldest was the perfect baby! Seriously, I had no idea at the time of course. My youngest is a little monster! We still love her just as much, though! ha ha According to my grandmother, this is pretty much the way it usually works out. Just curious to see how many of you have the same issue???

Hi, Tina. I guess your grandmother was right. I have seven kids myself and talking through experience, my eldest child, a boy, was the most well-behaved baby compared to the rest. Sometimes, I wonder whether he had unknowingly prepared himself to be the leader of all seven as much is expected from him. On the contrary, my youngest, which is also a boy, is the most fussiest and noisiest baby of all. Well, nature has all figured it out, I should say.

welcome to mylot tina, hope you like it here like most of us do. i have four children my first born is a boy then i have three girls, believe it or not the youngest is the most naughtiest of all. lol. she can even scapes at her crib when she was just 9 months. we even call her harry houdini for she can escape at her crib. yes i believe that is how it usually works too. i agree with your grandmama.

I have a five year old daughter and a three year old son. For me, each of them has aspects of their behavoir that are just horrible, and other where they are angels. My daughter is getting very hard to handle because of massive temper tantrums and whining, but my son has a problem with hitting. As babies...I had a hard time with both. I really couldn't say which was easier than the other. Not that they were difficult babies, more that I had my own issues. Everyone tells me that both of them were great babies and that I was very lucky. I can remember saying to someone that I was terrified to have a third child, because I got so lucky with the first two!
