The dishwash that is! No one really likes to do the dishes but if you had a choice to load or unload which would you choose? You would NEVER have to do the other! Just pick one and tell me why! I would pick load - I hate unloading the dishwasher! Its easier to just load it up put some soap in push a button and walk away. What are you thoughts and why?

I can understand why you prefer to load it up instead of unloading it because it is usually easier, but I think I honestly prefer to unload it,because it is sometimes fun to unload it,and since our dishwasher usually only has cups, plates, and silverware it is a snap to unload and put them where they need to go,since the silverware drawer and the plate and cups cabinets are near the dishwasher, and the silverware holder comes out so I can take it to the silverware drawer and put the silverware away comfortably.

Neither I'd rather make ^ him do it (note that the arrow is pointing towards hellcowboy if someone is between I do not mean them. In all seriousness I think I would much rather load them up myself as it is much easier although I do enjoy putting the silverware away. Our dishes aren't hard to put away at all as they are almost always just cups, plates and silverware! Also the plates are almost always paper! I appreciate the discussion, have a wonderful one!

I'm the same way. It's a chore having to sort through the plates and stuff and then having to pack them away. I prefer to load it, add soap and push the button and let it do it's thing. I do both though because no-one else in my household touches the darn thing LOL

Yeah I know the feeling! I try really hard to get my husband to do a thing or two around the house including - unloading the dishwasher! Needless to say I do it all.

I would pick loading the dishwasher. I hate to unload the dishwasher. I have actually washed dishes by hand before, but cause I was too lazy to unload the dishwasher. Which seems dumb because washing dishes by hand is more time consuming than unloading the dishwasher.

Well I have a family of 3 to 5 (step kids) so I prefer to use the dishwasher. But I still hate to unload!

Definitely load, although as we don't have a dishwasher, either would be a bit of a luxury. I also prefer to wash than dry. There's something more satisfying about getting dirty dishes out of the way.

How many people in your house?? It varys at my house from 1 to 5 at any given time. And some times more then that. Weekends there is always a lot of people! I don't know what I would do with out my dishwasher!

There's only three of us living here ... although from the look of the kitchen after my husband's been in there, you would swear we were billeting a football team! We had a dishwasher for a little bit when I was a teenager, but I've never lived anywhere with one since. I don't really mind washing up, but have to keep on top of it or it piles up. It's also a big job when we are entertaining - I tend to always have hot water in the sink and just wash as I cook. I have stayed in holiday units with a dishwasher, and have forgotten to use it!

That's an easy answer for me. I would chose unload. Dishes going in are dirty, coming out they are clean. I like clean. Dirty drives me nuts. Also, I like to wash dishes just knowing that the dishes are sitting around dirty and waiting for a few days to fill up enough to wash and not waste water and electricy there are nights that I just wash them and put away in the cabinets. You will probably think I'm nut but I always wash the pans. I never put pans in the dishwasher.

I used to be that way. But now that I have sippy cups and other stuff I rather load. I hate putting all the sippy cups back together and finding matches for the tupperware. Thats what makes me NUTS!

I would pick load too. I hate unloading especially if there is silverware involved that is the worst. I often times just leave it in and pick one or two things out as we need it. I actually like to load the dishwasher sometimes. It is always a relief to get those dirty dishes out of the sink. It's nice to see my sink bottom.

I know this is not one of the choices but I decided to answer anyway. I actually prefer to wash the dishes by hand. It takes too much effort to get them clean enought to put them in the dishwasher and arrange them just right. Plus the fact it takes forever to get a full load since there are only 2 people in my household and the only meal that we eat at home is dinner.

I can see that for you just washing would be easier! For me I have a family or 3 to 5 so I rather use the dishwasher.
