On how our team is shaping up this year? It's hard to get a clear picture from the internet commentaries and I'd like to know what things look like for us. Of course, I'm going to be on the Dallas side no matter what just as I have for the past 40 years but I'm really hoping we can make it all the way to the Superbowl this year.

Well, they are favored by many of the sports commentators, but we all know how much that means. They are a good team, but I think they may have a little bit left before they become a really great team like some of the Dalls Cowboys of the past. Romo is a good quarterback but you have to realize that last year was his first full year as a quarterback in the NFL. He is still going to make mistakes and may "choke" in big games. Then again he may not. He does usually remain cool under pressure during the games, which is a very good thing, and he will improve in this area with more experience. So far, Pacman looks good in practice but we still have to see if he can keep his nose clean so the commissioner lets him play. I myself have been a Cowboys fan since they first started televising their games, so I hope they go all the way this year. But if they do not, I will still love them.

Someone after my own heart! A die hard Cowboy fan! I was born in Dallas and became a fan when I was around 5, which was many years ago. I don't really remember watching games until I was 7 or 8 but we always had a jigsaw puzzle going while we watched the game on Thanksgiving Day. I can't remember a Thanksgiving without the Cowboys but I became an even more avid fan when I was in college because I stayed with some friends who are complete football fans and finally explained all of the moves and plays to me so I could fully enjoy football.
The Cowboys have always been my favorite and will always be my favorite but I have developed a fondness for the game and have watched other teams at various time because I knew someone who knew a team member. Years ago, my father's bookkeeper had a son who was the quarterback for the Miami Dolphins and a few years before that, I met someone who played with the Chicago Bears when Gale Sayers and Brian Piccollo (sp?) were on the team. That was interesting to get to know someone who knew Gale and Brian because I've long been a fan of the movie,"Brian's Song."

I know what you mean about watching Cowboys game being part of holidays while growing up. I grew up in the Panhandle of Texas but it was just part of the Sunday afternoon routine to come home from church, eat lunch and then watch the Cowboys game. My dad was a big football fan, so I started watching the games with him and that is who taught me a lot of what I know about football. And the Thanksgiving game was a time when the whole family gathered to watch the game and argue about who was going to win. (Some of my family members are Cowboy haters instead of Cowboy lovers.) Then I lived in the Dallas area for about 16 years and have some great memories from then. I actually met Roger Staubach while I was living down there. I was so overcome and nervous that I was able to just barely stutter out a greeting but it was awesome. He had his Super Bowl ring on his right hand. Always to talk to other real fans, no matter where they are.

I think the Cowboys are in a really good shape this year. They were exceptionally fine last year but just didn't perform during crunch time. I think Tony Romo has learned from last year and will definitely pick up on the slack this year. I'm really looking forward to see them in action! Practice has already started hopefully we'll see some of those on the internet soon. :)

The Cowboys should be good if all the pieces work together. Romo is coming into his own and T.O. seems to be more focused than ever on just winning. If Pacman can go a few months without making it rain he will be huge in the return game and is a decent cornerback. Marion Barber is a beast and Felix Jones will be a nice spark for the offense. They could easily make it to the Super Bowl if they play to their potential.
