This may be goodbye for awhile

Hi Friends, I just wanted to let you know that I am moving this week, need to be moved out by Friday. But I am not sure if I can afford to have my computer anymore. So this may be goodbye for a bit. I am hoping that I will not have to give up my computer, but I also have to afford other things.1 person likes this

Thank You reckon21, I am going to enjoy my time with everyone, and hope that my check this week will be enough, but am not sure.

Where will you be moving? Well, whatever your reasons are for moving, I hope that it will be great and safe. I do hope that you will be able to get a good deal on an internet connection. We will surely miss you. Take care and we hope to have you back very soon!

Now that I've read that comment and the reason for the move...I just want to give you a big hug and tell you that you are a strong woman and I'm so proud of you! You're life will come together much easier now that you are out from under that horrible situation and he is out of your life!

I am moving to a better apartment in the same city I live in now. I will be safe because it is right next door to the domestic violence shelter i was living in. They actually fund my apartment and my abuser was deported, so I am so happy for this move, there is a nice fenced in playground in the backyard and the house is well kept as well as the grounds. It will be an awesome upgrade from where I live now.

Aw...that's not good and good all at the same time! I know I wish I was moving but I would hate to have to give up my computer...luckily this computer is mine so it'd go with me but paying for internet connection would be tricky! Partr of me hopes I'm your exact position very soon though!. I'm sure you'll find your way back soon though. Did you make payout for July or do you have money still in your account? If you don't lod in for 3 months or more your earnings are lost so you might want to make as much as you can or at least make a payout by the 31st and then not post after that until you know for sure that you'll still have your computer.

I am happy to say that I did make payout, but I am really going to try to get this all together.
I originally moved to where I am now through the shelter,so we have been away from eachother for over a year. But recently in this apartment, there have been several problems with how it has been kept. Not very well at all. All the damages that were here when I moved in are still here, and some of them are severe violations of saftey codes. So the shelter decided not to use this landlord anymore and I am moving to a much better place. The fire alarm in my house doesn't have the strobe lights on it, so I know that I will be much happier in my new place.
Plus, it has 3 bedrooms and is 3 times the size of the one I am currently in.

Hi, I would hate to see you go! Even if you cannot be online full time on DSL, there is always that dreaded backup of Dial-up. You may want to check for prices for that in your area. Hopefully it will all work out!but just a thought and a suggestion

yes, I was thinking about using dial up, verizon is just really expensive, and it is all in with my phone bill. But I haven't been making that much money working at burger king, so maybe the program that I pay my rent to will lower it based on my paystubs.
5 bucks for 3 months doesn't sound to bad at all, and i am not really a phone person, so i would be ok with dial up.

I will miss 'seeing' you on here, Things I'm sure will get better for you and your 'goodbye' I hope will not be a long one.
I wish you good luck and hope that this move will be just the first step on your journey to a much happier and safer life.
