Is it possible to change noise to energy?

We live in a atmosphere of noise, sometimes i wonder if we could change it to energy .By this we can reduce the noise doing harm to our health,and also can help to save resource.If it comes true ,we can kill two birds with one stone...

What an interesting idea! I'm really rusty on my physics, but as far as I remember, sound waves are energy. It would be great if a really loud vehicle or factory could somehow convert sound vibrations into something functional. Good thinking.

Thanks!I think change sound to energy that can be use is possible,because sound waves are energy just like you said.The point is maybe how to make it effective.Er,we know sound energy is weak usually.So,that the problem....

We should explore these thing to make a science superb.... Do you hav anything in mind to do like that.... Give yr openion....... You know this will be overcome to controling the pollution and making the energy.. We are waiting for yr response...
