what would you do if you are robbed or your things got stolen in the street?

it is not rare to hear people lose things when they are on the street.what would you if you are the one who gets robbed or has something stolen?will you call for the police?do you think that actually works?or you have no choice but let go withou making any effort to find it?

but i am afraid that reporting to the police is just a waste of time:it wont work!especially when you lose your samll amount of possessions,i dont think the police would take time to look into the case~~~
do you think police can help us out the embarrassing situation?

I wouldn't really expect the thief to be caught or the property returned but, if I was able to give my insurance company a reference number to prove the theft had been reported, they would at least pay out for a replacement. Without that reference number, they wouldn't.

i am very fortunate not to have any such experience. But if i ever come across events like that. I definately would protect myself first, which is to make sure i'll not get hurt in any way. Then i'll call the police to track down the evil guys.

i hope every one will not have such kind of experience,hehe ~~~i hate those who robs or steals~~~i am eager to wish that all those people would be caught by the police!
certaily personal safty is much more important than the possessions~~~~i think it is wise to do in the way as you mentioned above~~

hehe,i should say that you were "lucky" to just lost 5 dollars~~~
however,no matter how little we lost,we would surely feel upset and sad (at least for a certain period of time)~~~
i also dont think it works a bit for us to turn to the police~~~what we can do is to be more carefull next time,hehe~~
