Do you use your Landline?

I have just moved house and I don't think I am going to put the land-line phone on. I was thinking, that's probably the way it is now for everybody? With the net, and a mobile phone in every persons pocket, we hardly have a need for the old land-line any more. Do we? Do you guys use your land-line, or did you switch it off?

yup i do use my landline when i have to call at work that i can't attend to it due to some important matters or when i can't reach my boyfriend through his phone. but when i get home from work, i remove it off the plug so that i won't hear my phone ring when somebody calls who can interrupt me on my deep sleep. i wake up so easily. haha.. but i seldom use it because i am more into texting and sending messages than staying long on the line due to a static that you can hear through the phone.. i can't stand the sound and worse of it i couldn't hear the other person on the line because of the loud noise of the phone. happy mylotting and take care!

Ha - Fair enough, I guess it is still in use! I just don't get the whole smsthing though.. I mean it's good for some quick information. But the way kids use it to have full and complete conversations with just is beyond me hey, I mean once your texting your second message or so, a phone call would have been cheaper wouldn't it?

When cellphones start to emerge the land line usage decreases. It's more handy to use cellphones. We no longer use land line in the house
