I have a hybrid car Buzz. It has a 1500cc petol engine and another electric motor too. I can run of electric only around town or locally, and use the petrol for longer journeys and acceleration. The car itself decides which is the right balance for what conditions. One or the other or both together. Coolest (and ugliest) car that I have ever owned. I love it! Gives similar fuel consumption to a diesel but is more environmentally friendly. When I stop at lights, the engine stops too until I press the accelerator to move off. The battery charges itself so you don't have to plug it in either.

Thats great! When you slow down the engine stops and the motor is also charged from the energy generated from the rotating wheels. Environment friendly too. hybrid is a good choice.

I use petrol car with mpfi engine. I always prefer it because of so many reasons. First think is less expensive, less maintenance cost, less service cost, less pollution, engine noise, but only thing diesel has its less cost of fuel.
keep in touch.thanks

You are right. But now days even diesel cars are too silent and don't puke too much of smoke. like a diesel swift! But it is economical only if you run 1500 km a month.

Right now we don't have a vehicle and with the price of gas we are happy we don't.
We are planning to get another car in a few months or maybe we will wait until next spring. We don't need a car here in the city but I do love to fish and want another car by next fishing season.
Myself I would go with an electric vehicle if they could go to the places I go fishing but that's not going to happen for a few more years so I will go with a hybrid.
We just haven't figured out which hybrid we want yet but we still have a few months to make up our minds.
I prefer to go as green as possible and within our budget of course.
