I'm going to Turkey tomorrow!

Wow, hope you enjoy your trip! I've never been to Turkey before, but I don't think the people there speak English. And I hear it's quite hot over there? I've only been to countries in North America and Asia. Hopefully I'll have the chance to see Europe and Australia as well soon!

I was stationed in the Air Force in Adana, Turkey. This was back in the 1970's so I am sure things have changed since I was there. I was there a year and enjoyed it a lot.

I hope that you will have a wonderful time in Turkey. I went there for two weeks in the winter one year. We flew into Istanbul and spent a few days there then got on an overnight train. We went to some terraces with a pool at the top. Wow! Next we got a bus to the coast. We saw Olu Deniz and it was beautiful outside the tourist season. I liked Turkey very much and think that this time of the year the weather will be hot unlike when we were there.

I was three times in Istanbul. There is much to see there. I liked to learn about the history of the city. However some people steal the tourists with their credit cards.
