Stress-induced acne

My girlfriend and I just spent three weeks on a stressful, time-consuming and difficult project. I broke out with several zits and when we finished the project yesterday, after I took a shower, the zits began to shrink.
It's not the first time I've had a constellation-style breakout during a period of high stress. It happened to me in high school during midterms and finals, and more recently when I was having a difficult period of time at a job. Anyone else ever had stress-acne?

My face is very prone to breaking out when I am going through stressful situations. I have had it break out when I've been preparing for some tough exams at school, I've had a few stressful days at work and most recently when I was going through a rough patch with my boyfriend. Stress acne is the worst too. At least mine are, they always big red cysts and almost impossible to pop and take days to go away.
Ugh. Acne is horrible. Do you think they had acne way back when?

i always experiencing this acne-popped-out too...everytime i got stressed, and didn't have an adequate sleep... but according to what ive read, stress results increases to your stress hormones, which cause of sebum secretions which cause more acne...in short, there are having hormonal imbalances due to stress...
but you can practice stress managements, like yoga, exercise, healthy eating, etc. and also wash your face regurlarly, with regimens that are compatible to your skin type.
