When was the last time you said I Love You to your Father?

I never had the chance to say that to my father even in my childhood days.Now that he's gone I feel very sorry.

my dad lives with me, and i look after him i never really say it too him i just know he knows i love him.. with mum she will call at least 2 times a week just to tell me she loves me and i do that same back and every now and again i will call her and say it just because i want to say it.. so i will be telling my dad today how much i love him, and just because he is living with me, doesnt mean he wouldnt like to hear those words from me.. thanks for bringing this up.. great discussion hugsssssssss

Hmmmm well if I'm going to be honest it must have been about three or four months ago now. I don't think it's a matter of being uncomfortable personally for me, I think it is more of a thing you just do when the need arises. Unlike my mum, of whom I can say it to without much reason to... my dad just doesn't seem to need to hear it to know it. The majority of the time I think you shall always have that kind of bond with your mother, but more than likely not as off-handedly with your dad.
