Do you still write on a diary?

No I no longer write on a diary. I blog about some of the not so personal things but I don't reveal much as we are all familiar with "identity theft". I have entries in the computer however but they are not for publication, just for personal perusal.

I have my blog on the internet, but I don't really categorize it as my diary. I think that everyone of us, even if there are so many things about us that we want to tell the world, there are things that we want to keep for ourselves. I still have my diary and I write there things that are too significant to forget. My blog is a doorway to my thoughts, my diary is the home of feelings which I want to keep safe. We blog about things that interests us, sometimes, we blog about the things we hate, but when things are personal... I personally, don't like to write it in details and let everybody know about it. Especially if it has nothing to do with other people, basically, my diary is the best destination for that. Also, I see a significance in keeping and writing in a diary, because the pages, the handwriting and the stains marked on the pages will tell a lot, especially if you go back to in years from now.

Thinking about the hours spent curled up on my bed writing in my diary brings such a sense of nostalgia. I haven't written in a diary since my first daughter was born in 1991. I still love writing but I no longer do it by hand. Maybe now that I have thought about it, I will pick up a new diary on my next foray to the mall. Thanks for bringing a smile to my face. I loved remembering my diaries. Now I have to go dig them up and read them! LOL

I still prefer to write by hand. I have a dream jurnal and wouldn't want it online. Some things ae meant to remain personal.

.. nope, i quit writing after me and my girlfriend broke up.. i used to read my old diary on our broken days and good memories that written on it cuts me slow.. so i burn it with her letters and memories.. ouch!
