My son (4), when he does something that he is proud of, has a little smirk where is is trying so hard not to smile. Then when I smile, his face just lights up.
My daughter (3) makes me kiss her all over before we go to bed and the she kisses me all over, too. I kiss ear, ear, cheeker, cheeker, eyebulb, eyebulb, feelhead, hair, chinchopper, nosesmeller, gollywhopper and mouth. It is the cutest thing ever and I don't think that I could go to sleep without doing it. I will miss it when she grows out of it.

I get a smile on my face by just looking at my kids. Even when they cry, they look so cute that i cannot help smiling while consoling them. Kids are great at whatever they do- their morning smile is the best way to start a day!

Agreed. My kids along make me smile, too. That is funny that you mentioned crying. Today, I picked my kids up from swimming with mawmaw and my daughter was really tired. She had a booboo from earlier in the day and she started crying about it when she saw me. Really hammming it up if you know what I mean:) Made me smile.

I love it when my son is being thoughtful to me. He is only 2 1/2 yrs old but he so is thoughtful. Everytime he has something to eat, he never forgets about me. He always shares me whatever he has. During meal time, he always calls me even if am asleep. And, if someone gives him food, he'll ask to give me as well. One more thing, he doesn't want my things to be used by anyobody else. If my husband gets my phone, my son would tell him, "that's mama's phone!" Isn't so sweet? It really makes me smile.

Awesome stories. That is exactly what I was looking for. Wait to your girl gets older. Mine is 3 now and such a good mommy. She carries her babies everywhere, snuggles them when we watch tv, puts them to bed and covers them up, and we even have to get highchairs at resturaunts for baby dolls sometimes:)

My son aged 14 months has such a sweet smile that delights me. His whole face seems to light up with such joy. It is great when he laughs in a really cute way. Lately he has learned to clap his hands and wave to people so that is really pleasing. He can combat style crawl and he can now sit up unaided for short periods of time. He has spina bifida so every bit of progress he makes is extra special.
My son aged 13 years also has the most endearing smile. I like the way he speaks in such a polite and sensible way. He delights me with his historical knowledge and his skill in design projects really pleases me. I like the way he amuses his brother. I am excited about his time at school because he always gets certificates of praise. he is a good boy considering he is now a teenager.
Your children sound sweet and your little girl really likes the kisses to say good night.

Both of your children sound wonderful. I have a nephew who is 11 and he is so great with the little ones (mine and his own siblings). He plays so well with them and makes them feel special even though he is so much older than them. Kids are just so much fun. I wish I had enough money to have a bunch, but two is plenty for me:)

My daughter is turning 2 this august.I always smile when she recite the alphabet faster and try to do the things i am doing like cleaning the house, everything she does actually makes me smile. If she would go out she would always tells me i love you it melts my heart i hope she remain as my little girl. Like when she wants to sleep she would tell me to lay down with her she would hold me and put her hand inside my t-shirt and if i move she would know.If she made a mistakes and she know that i'll get mad she would just call me in her very cute way "mommy" it melts me.She knows her way for not to get mad at her.She is so smart.I think kids in this generation are smart.

I can relate to all of those things My son is four and I still have to lay down with him to get him to sleep. He puts his arms on me, so he has to be sound asleep before I can get up:) My daughter does the cute thing when she is in trouble. She'll make a really cheesy, happy face and say, "Does this work?"

You and me both have a four year old son. I am proud of him very much.
He does a lot of things that make me smile. He says a lot of things that make me laugh. Some of the things that he comes out with make me happy.
He also has a way of making other people laugh. You know how kids can say things that you don't expect. I agree with you. I will miss all of this too. It is going to go by very fast and they will be grown up before you know it.

I know. I just wish I had video camera going 24/7. I know one day when they are grown that I am going to look back and say I wish i could see this again or I wish that I could hear them say that again and I won't have it. I cherish every chance that I get with them. They are 3 and 4 and seem like they were born yesterday:(

When my two year old girl hugs me and say " You're great, you're a super mommy! I love you very much". Even the simple "thank you" whenever I give her something or do her a favor makes me smile and very happy.

Very cute. I think most things that our kids and grandkids our cute, but I'm glad to hear one of your favorites, too. I'm also glad to see that you enjoy being a grandparent. Thanks for doing that.

I don't have any kids, but I've nephews and niece, whom I adore intensely.
Whenever I visit my sister, my little niece (2), would jump in excitement, when she sees me at the gate. She would call out 'YiYi (auntie)' and when I enter the hall, she would hug my legs and tell me 'are we going shopping today?' She would have this grin all over her face, and I won't be able to say no.
