Life is so busy this summer...is your summer flying by?

Or is it dragging? I am walking in the 3-Day breast cancer walk in September so much of my time away from work has been spent fundraising and training for the 60 mile walk. I am excited about the money we 6 women on my team have raised. It is amazing that we have almost raised $15,000. My team is made up of fighters, survivors and those of us that just want to eradicate this disease.
Hope some of you are walking in your city's walk!!
But back to topic...it has filled my summer's every minute with all the tasks that go with it!! My grandchildren have also been occupying my life and that is wonderful!!
I have a 7 year old grandson who will have surgery today..so any good thoughts and prayers will be appreciated.
How has your summer been so far? Busy? Boring? Insane? Fun? Sad?

Oh yes, flying by and the worst of it is that I haven't even starting to do what I need to do, and still have had no time for anything.
At least you have been fundraising for a worthy cause so you can account for your time and know that it was spent on something positive, now I can't even account for it LOL
If I had to use one word for my summer it would have to be insane, or maybe just weird LOL
Sending positive thoughts and a wish that all goes well with your grandson's surgery

I wouldn't say my summer is dragging. I am pretty busy with a four year old son right now. I am a stay at home mother. It has been pretty hot and humid here in the south. It sounds like you have been keeping yourself busy.
That is very impressive that you have been doing all that you are doing. Sixty mile walk? Boy, that sounds pretty challenging. I wish you luck and it seems to all be of worthy causes.
I figure summer will be over before we know it. I am looking forward to the autumn time.

"Astay at home mom with a 4 year old is a 24/7 job!!! You must stay very busy!! My walk will be over a 3 day period with camping altogether at night..it's a very well orchestrated event. We walk 23 miles the first day, 20 the 2nd and 17 the 3rd...it is challenging..but like you said for a good cause.
I LOVE fall....it's one of my fav's...have a good rest of the summer...

It seems like the months are just flying by faster and faster. Here it is already August and Fall is right around the corner. I don't know where the days went but they flew right on by. My Summer has pretty much been indoors...the heat is just unbearable.
