To all the Filipinos around the world.
Let us share to the world our rich heritage.
I am starting this discussion so we can list down the many things that make our country unique and a wonderful place to call home .
Cultural Heritage: intangible attributes
We Filipinos are hospitable. Even the simplest family will give their room for a guest.
When we eat in a public place we say "Let's eat or kain tayo!" We don't expect you to share but if you decide to we are more than willing to share our food with you.
We kiss our elders hand as a sign of respect and greeting.
Physical/Tangible Cultural Heritage: monuments, buildings,architecture, artifacts

Natural Heritage: flora and fauna
Bohol's chocolate hills
Puerto pricessa - beautiful subterranean river

Of course! I may not be proud of what is happening in the Philippines right now, but I'm definitely proud to be a Filipino.... that is one of the reason on why I do not like those Politician in the Philippines because I want to see a better Philippines.... because I'm Proud to be Pinoy. For that when I have an opportunity I decide to work abroad although it is hard, at least I help someone or a one person in the Philippines to be hired in the work and in the same company to replace me...(nabawasan ng 1 ang mga unemployed sa pinas) Grin Grin Grin
It's not always the Government.... It's the people running the Government!
It's not always the System.... It's the people implementing the System!
It's not the lack of Resources... It's how we use the Resources!
It's not always what the country can give us.. It's what we can give back to the country!and if you are a Filipino and you do not feel a little bit of happiness when Pacquiao did win then for sure you are no longer proud of being a Filipino......
And one of the Natural Heritage Filipino has been prouf of is Palawan:Palawan is an exquisite destination in the southwestern part of the Philippine archipelago. It is a long, narrow island pointing to Borneo. It is known as the "Last Frontier" and is now being promoted as an ecotourism destination, attracting a steady stream of visitors. It is, in fact, one of the most visited tourist spots in the Philippines.

I am still proud to be a Filipino.
But I was not happy when Pacquiao won.
He allows "traditional" politicians to use him.
Did you know he is still planning to run for public office.
I am planning to visit Palawan soon.

I felt also sad when I knew and watched him in the television here in Kuwait for "GMA Pinoy Tv",I do like him for bringing a dignity in the Boxing field but sad to say that he allowed someone to used him for political reason, I hope in the near future in which our Country will have another election this coming 2010 that Filipino people would have to be wise enough to know who is the right person to be voted......
