Ohayo gozaimasu! Hehehe never knew you'd like kiddish snacks like Pocky. I've seen a few in Giant, but I think at KLCC and Bangsar Cold Storage you can find more varieties. They're pretty pricey in MY, don't you think? I would love to try other flavours. :):) Thanks for responding, LJ!

I've tried the pink ones, but not really sure what flavor they are. I think they taste pretty good, but are way overpriced. One box will set you back a buck fifty, and that's too much for a few pretzel sticks.

The pink ones should be strawberry. I think they're expensive because they're made in Japan. :)

I'd never heard of pocky before. Thanks for educating me. My nephew, who is in the Marines, and his family just got back to the states after living in Japan for three years. I'll have to ask them if they had any pocky. I'm also going to look for it in our local grocery stores.

Hi FlaKNMB! Wow, I bet your nephew and his family have lots of interesting stories to share about their life in Japan. Japan is one of the countries that I'd love to visit in the future.
I hope you will like Pocky as much as I do! :) I'm glad I'm able to share my knowledge and experience with you and our MyLotter friends. Thanks so much for your response.

I love Pocky! I'm half japanese, and I used to go visit family in Japan every year. I loved strawberry pocky with the little fruit bits on them. My aunt used to send Pocky and those chocolate filled Koala snacks when she sent us a package with birthday or christmas presents. :]

Hi megumi! It's so cool that you're half Japanese. Ogenki desuka. :) I love those filled biscuits, but they are called Hello Panda. :) Just curious, can you speak Japanese?

Yay! Another person who has tried Pocky and loves it. :) Hopefully you can get it there, maybe at a supermarket that sells imported snacks.
Thanks for your response, Trisha. :)

I never heard of the word pocky or even tryed it.Sounds good to me. If we would have it here I would try it. I like pretzles very much and with it having cream or fruit bits on it I would say its yummy.

Are you in the US? You can definitely get some Pocky there! I think it retails at $3 per box, am not so sure. Try and visit an Asian food specialty store, if you have one near you.
It's yummy, trust me! Thanks for your response. :)

I've never heard of it. I dont think they sell that in my area of the country. I was in Hawaii last April they might have sold it there but I did not have any. I do like to try foods from differnet areas and parts of the world but I dont always get to.
There is a store in the US called World Market. They might have it there.

I joined a swapping community online and that's where I knew that you can get Pocky in the US. In Hawaii, you can get tropical flavoured ones like pineapple and Tahitian Vanilla, if I'm not mistaken that's the name. :)
Thanks for responding! ;)

I think I'd categorize Pocky more as a cookie. They're very, very tasty, though! I'm pretty fond of the dark chocolate and the strawberry ones. The rest are okay and I'm happy to eat them, but they're not my absolute favorites.
