when did you stop wiping your kids' bottom?

i think they were around 3 before i trusted them to get clean and not use to much paper. but, my daughters youngest is 7 yrs and he still screams DONE at her and she wipes. i think thats just disgusting!

My daughter is 3 and half and starting preschool in the fall so we are working on her being able to be completely independent in the bathroom. She was completely potty trained at age 2 1/4 but I I've always helped with some of the wiping. It's hard for me because I worry about her getting rashes and such but I think she is finally getting the hang of it. We use the Kandoo brand bathroom wipes and foaming soap. She loves to use it and it's been a big help. They have the wipes at school for her to use too and their kiddie sized flushable toilets. She thinks it great that school has potties her size, she seems to get a real kick out of it.

My toddler was a little over 3 years old when he did it all by himself. He did a good job doing it to. How old is your child? Children are all different when it come to learning on there own to wipe there own bottoms. A friend of mine took her child untill he was 4 years old to do a good job of wipong.

i am not starting yet. my son is just two years old, although my wife sometimes just tell him she will spank him if he will not be a good boy. so far my son is listening to us. my wife said i spoil my son (but i really dont know) har har har. i will desipline him if i see something wrong on what he is doing. for the mean time i am still enjoying him for kids grows fast. i dont want to miss this cute years.
