Does Facebook slow your computer down?

I was on Facebook for a little while yesterday and I didn't experiece any problems with my compuer's speed.

yes it does because face book constantly streams things like music.

heya this doesnt actually happen with me but ive realised that when i go on to facebook the connection for my brothers play station 3 the wire less connection goes weak and my brothers xbox keeps lagging ometimes i think that its because of facebook ! because im on it so maybe.. but not sure

i know what you mean it happens to me too..i think i have to much on it..but once i restarted my computer and dumped everything it seems to work fine now..try uploading some other programs that may help you with that..windows7 i think..i use it but since they changed face it works alot better..if not sure about that go ask some friends on face about it they will be able to help..if not get a hold of me and ill ask some of my computer geeks i have on face and well get it fixed
