My obgyn said I can't go to the zoo......

I'm three months pregnant and my ob told me that, pregnant women should avoid the zoo. Due to the smell of the animal poop. I understand no dark soda or anything with caffeine. Like I can't have any chocolate at all now. Which sucks. But now I'm not allowed to go the zoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Come on now.

well..unless your situation is somewhat delicate that needs to rest and prevent you to get excited or scared otherwise then you must do as what the doctors had advice..if not then maybe your obgyne believes on some older folks says that when in its early pregnancy never look to anyone who is ugly or same to that effect including monkeys and the like which makes you unborn child may acquire physically..

Really? This is the first time I've heard about this. I think I should ask my OB/GYNE friends. Maybe it must be the fumes and it will just make you sick but nothing more to it. Don't feel so bummed out... just think that it is for the baby.

I have heard that pregnan women should not clean the kitty liter boxes. That makes perfec sense to me. Not ure about the zoo, but then some exhibits are in enclosed spaces, so who knows? I don't know what to say about this one.
