E.L.F. Cosmetics are great!!!

Im not sure how many have used them, but I think they are great.

Most of their makeup is $1 and honestly I was skeptical just like I think anyone would be because you always think to yourself "if its too good to be true then it probably isn't true", but I was VERY shocked when my $40 (40 items) worth of makeup came. I bought tons of eyeshadow, lip gloss/sticks, blush and some other misc. items.
First off, The eyeshadow is more pigmented than what I would have ever expected. I think it works better wet personally, but thats my own preference. they offer nice little compacts with 4 shadows and its perfect for throwing in my purse for the day (in case i need a touch up) they are small and theres a mirror in the little shadow brush slot which is great!
Their blushes are great as well.
I also bought some makeup brushes which although they aren't MAC quality I will say I have spent a pretty penny on some brushes in the past and these are right up there and ONLY $1.
Their nail polishes go on great and last.
I will say one thing i was not a fan of was their Mascara. I really didn't think it was that great.
Anyone else tried E.L.F. cosmetics?

Yeah. Im such an online shopping addict and its great to be able to stock up on makeup supplies for cheap. I wouldnt have ever expected them to actually be of any quality. I have heard that they are an affiliate of loreal cosmetics but I havent found any info on the internet to confirm that.

awesome. I hope you like it! :D definitely post back and let me know what you think. I initally bought $40 worth of stuff and it took me like a week to try everything although i will admit the first day i tried a lot of it just by applying then wiping all my makeup off then reapplying. HAHA. but shh! our secret! ;)

(their shipping is kind of slow. I think mine took 2 weeks. but Im guessing because everyone likes good $1 makeup. its worth it)

Hi Alissa! Welcome to Mylot! When I first discovered this website I couldn't believe the prices. I ordered some stuff and was quite surprised by the quality. I even gave them a write-up on my blog. I haven't tried the mascara, so I'll steer away from it, but most of their stuff is pretty neat.

Oh I don't get the brand here in India. Seems good and whoa a four-shade compact for just $1?

Ive used it for about 6 months. no reactions at all. except i dont like the mascara because it seems too dry and clumpy. that was the only negative thing about their products. I only tried one of their types of mascara though. all their other things are really awesome.
I saw a really cool show the other day about the people in india that are building a big super mall there. that will be really cool. they probably wont sell ELF but it will still be pretty neat. not sure if you live near it but they said it was something like 40 acres. thats bigger than any US mall. haha. HUGE!
