cardboard testimonies

I just received the most wonderful e-mail from a close friend. it is linked to a video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvDDc5RB6FQ these are everyday people proclaiming how they "used" to be, and how they are "now" since finding their faith. it is quite poignant ! many made me teary. one couple lost their child to suicide. a couple who experienced several stillborns. a woman who was addicted to meth. and, several stricken with cancer. i liked the words: what if we are the welcoming committee in heaven? which testimony affected you the most and why.

Well thanks a bunch. I cried when I opened this in the email you sent me, and now I'm crying again! I loved them all Sam. I can't pick just one, because each and every one of them came from their heart to the ear of God and that makes ALL of them special. Hugs to you for sharing.

i agree. each and every one of them is a revelation in their own right. when i get older than i am now (i'm 60) and i go to a nursing home, i hope you are in the bed next to me. i want the bed closest to the bathroom however. as we will be laughing so much, i will be needing to zoom in there several times a day. wonder if i can still zoom when i'm in a nursing home. wonder if i will even care?

Thanks for that link. I just set here amazed at all those people and their testimonies! The couple that were divorced and now back together, the couple who adopted and now she was pregnant - just all amazing!

yes, i've watched this several times. i think it's a wonderful video. so positive and uplifting. i see something "new" every time i watch it.

each of them had their story and all beautiful, i loved the one they are adopting in may and now she is pregnant, we hear that a lot.. i loved that to "what if we are the welcoming committee in heaven" im doing my bible study every wednesday and i gey baptised in early october, and this was great to watch as im learning sooo much and i just cant get enough.. hugs sweetie and thank you sooo much for sharing that i will show my teacher next wed so she can see that as well..

i think on the page of youtube when it opens there are other videos as well. i think he said, " you would think by the 3rd time, i wouldn't get so emotional." i think there are 2 others, but this one is photographed very well. it's more professional. i am so glad you are being baptised ! i am so glad this video touched you as well. i know i was very moved by it. as we already knew, there is hope for all of us ! ! !
