Can i sell my homemade calendar?

Hi All I made a calender for my friend for her birthday as her favourite actor doesn't have a calendar available to buy. Quite a few of our friends have expressed interest in it and want to buy it. It won't be alot of money but i could sure use it right now. As most of the images are off the internet would i be allowed to do this or is it breaking some kind of copywrite laws? Not very up with this type of thing i looked for information on the internet but i'm still not sure there are are alot of people selling fridge magnets of celebrities etc on ebay so i'm even more confused.
Any help is appreciated

If your are going to sell the calander make sure it's done under the table because If you do get caught mass producing something that is copywrited like the images of an actor you can be fined.

yes that helps thanks i have been looking into it and it might just be easier to creat one with the phots i have of landscapes widelife etc

I have some great landscape pictures of places I've been and since I currently live in Tasmania, which is a island just south of Australia I should have some fantastic pictures if you would like to work something out. Just let me know.

I have quite alot of landscape ones aswell that i was umming and ahhing about using so yeh ok that'd be great i'll do a little reasearch and let you know. i'll pm you and we'll talk about it

Hi Mands, Because of copyright it might be a good idea to do personalised ones of photos of the people you are making the calendars for rather than use pics of favourite actors etc. Sounds like a wonderful idea though, good luck with it. My daughters friend asked for some photos of her throughtout her childhood and put together a story album for her for her 21st and she just loved it so I think you are onto something here. Ellie :D

hey hun yeh i've done that before took a picture from every age or and made a keepsake book for a friends 21st she loved it. I always make family photo once for xmas might not be a bad idea to start saying i do them and charge.
