i think you need to see a doctor. you need to bring your wife along. the doctor might teach some guidelines on how to lessen it or on how to cope. or maybe he can suggest theraphy so it can make you and your wife comfortable. the bad thing about snoring is we are not aware of it and we dont know that another person can not sleep while we have a good one. hope you can find a way

thanks for the suggestion,..You are right, the worst thing is the person snoring is not aware of others difficulties

Try closing your mouth when you sleep, changing your pillows to ones that'll support your neck better,or try some of those nasal strip things at bedtime that'll widen your nasal passages so you're not mouthbreathing as much..Failing that,She could poke you in the ribs til you wake up and SHE can get to sleep! Separate rooms is usually a last resort,I think..

My husband seldom snores. Only when he is very very tired, then he'll snore. And if he does, and I am aware of it (may be I am not as in deep sleep), I will nudge him. HAHA. Or I will grunt. I have a friend, whose husband snores quite loudly, her technique is to sleep go to bed and sleep at least 15 minutes earlier before the husband is allowed to sleep. HAHA

I have heard that Breath Right Strips do wonders for snorers! I think they sell them at supermarkets and srug stores. Another option is to sleep with the TV on so that the noise wont seem as loud and startle her. Good luck and have a wonderful night!
