I know that there are so many people that have their different beliefs and different ways of doing things. i think that it is the main reason why america is the way it is. But is it going to far as to take off the "In God We Trust" off the U.S. bill? after all our forefathers had strong beliefs in such things as the bible and what not. What are you thought? Should the america that once was formed as a free nation to have different beliefs be forced to pull out the history books? or to make history and take this country into the next phase so to speak? How many can honestly say that they trust God? How many people find this offending? and how many of you really dont care either way? If we were to take it off, would it make us less patriotic? or would it show that we are in a different time frame than that of our forefathers? any thoughts on this?

I say leave it, can you imagine how long it would take to replace all the current money with new money and the number of people that would hoard the old money. I also happen to be a Christian and have no problem with the statement.

see my thoughts are this: the further away we put God from the core of this nation, the further away he will be. and right now, we need him. We need him in the schools, in the government, in every household. - but what the government is doing is trying to do away with the dollar all together. can you imagine being able to walk into a store and just walk out without stopping at the cashier? well, that is were they want it to go. i dont know about you, but i believe every step we take in denying God, is one more count that God will finally just walk away saying "im done. let them be."

you're preaching to the choir. I happen to be a full-time missionary with Child Evangelism Fellowship. our primary ministry is the Good News Club an afterschool Bible club that meets in public elementary schools across America. www.cefonline.com
