ketchup, what is your choice? banana or tomato? these two are the most commonly used. between the two, i would go for tomato ketchup. i like my ketchup to be so sour. other ketchup preparations are mushroom, cranberry, and plum but haven't taste any of them yet. what's your ketchup of choice?

Ketchup is an extra tasting ingredience. It enhance food's taste. In that scence tomato ketchup is preferable. But I have tasted the banana ketchup. I didn't even heard of it.

I prefer banana over tomato ketchup. Banana ketchup is sweet and very tasty unlike tomato ketchup whereby there is a sour taste on it. Unless it would be added to a recipe like mixing and cook it with like spaghetti, that would be the time the food would taste great. While you love yours to be sour, mine would be sweet over finger foods, sour on cooked food.
Happy day !

Basically ketchup is made of tomatoes. But here in Manila, we also have a banana ketchup which i think has the same ingredient of tomato ketchup but instead of tomato, they use banana filling ( i think the SABA banana is use) and now, they're marketing the Mango ketchup, it has the same taste as the tomato ketchup but it looks like a mustard because of its yellow texture.
