we use to have dial up for probably 8 years and then we switched to broadband and it was probably the best thing we ever did for our computer. it is so much easier to use the internet and that makes it more fun and more enjoyable to use. since getting broadband everyone has used the internet more than they use to so thats good also.

Hi there moneymint18. Were using prepaid card 5 years ago, but now were using broadband. It's faster and it has a great connection everyday. We have problems in broadband when it was first launch here in the Philippines because we are a pioneer user of that internet connection. But we are a member now for a long time and I can tell...I always have an internet connection.

I have a broadband connection at home. I'm on a 1.5mbps DSL line. Well, it's enough for my needs as of now. It is really fast on web pages and downloads doesn't take that long to complete. I came slowly from a 36kbps to a 56kbps to 384kbps and now the 1.5 in the past 11 years. I'd probably upgrade it by next year to around 2-3mbps. Hopefully by that time, internet costs would be lower.

I use dial up. We live in a rural area. There aren't many choices for high speed internet here. We can't get DSL, because we're too far away from the towers. Cable TV/Internet isn't available here either. The only option is to get satellite internet for high speed. It's just way too expensive, though. Upwards of $400 for the installation and parts and then atleast $50 a month for the service. If it weren't so expensive, we'd probably get that. We are hoping to move, and we always check to see if the houses we are looking at can get dsl or cable internet haha.

Hi, i'm using a wireless internet here at my home. So far it's good! But I would want to be connected using a DSL line, or something lined rather than wireless.

There is nothing like having a broadband like i d here at my office. It's so much fater than the options at home. I was using a cable connection through the local cable TV provider. The speeds were ok but the break downs were too many. For some time now I've been using a data card now at home but the speed is pathetic and it keeps getting diconnected every now and then. I need to get myself a broadband at home as well.

till recently i had dial-up connection. but now with increased interests in internet i have moved to broadband. i think this is a good move as i am able to spend more time on the internet, hassle free. previously i had to wait for pages to load. this makes surfing the internet very boring and tedious. but with the broadband we can have increased speed which makes us feel happy surfing and chatting on the internet. happy browsing.
