Blogger Custom Domain

I just bought a custom domain from blogger. I've been a blogger for more than a year now however since this is the first time I bought a domain, I'm still trying to figure everything. Does anyone here in mylot owns a domain from blogger? How do I optimize these? Are there tools I need to know of? Does blogger offer other form of technical assistance aside from their FAQ and Help section where it sometimes takes a long time to get a response?
