I used to be an stay at home mom but just recently, I enrolled as a nursing aide in a school near our place. I have to wake up at 5 am and prepare my Grade 1-child and also, the things that my younger baby would need. I am glad because my hubby works at home and gladly takes care our baby while I am in school. Anyway, my classes are from 8 am to 12 noon only but there are times when I have lots of assignments and readings. I also tutor my child and sometimes, I don't have time anymore for the other things to be done at home. I must admit, our house is now a total mess.
I know there are lots of moms here who are working and still manage to keep their homes in order. Any advice you can share to me is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi! I am new mom. I have a 2 1/2 yr old son. I am a working mom. I work graveyard shift and I don't have any problem managing my time. After work, I make sure that I spend quality time with my son and do the household chores before sleeping. I get off to work at 6am and arrives at home 730am. I usually sleep around 2pm when everything is okay. I mean, I've done all the household chores and my son is taking his afternoon nap already.
I sleep for about 3-4 hours a day only to be able to perform my task as a mother and a wife. I am not saying that you do the same, it so happen that I work night shift that's why I have this daily routine.

Hi chrysz,
Wow! I can really imagine how hectic your schedule it..I am a full time wife and no kids so I can't relate!
ANyway, I will try, for your eldest, maybe you can train her for little things in the house, like arrange her own room, her stuff and put little things in the house in order...Have to give also lots of compliment! LOL!
Then, when they are napping, try also to ge a nap to relax your mind and body! EVen for 20 minutes then do one thing at a time...Maybe it is best to do the assignments during night time when kids are sleeping!
