People In South Texas Cleaning Up After Hurrican Dolly

Residents of South Texas are finally able to enter their homes after the enormous amount of rain they received from Hurricane Dolly. Some residents are finding everything they owned either wet or covered in mold after days of heat and humidity. One such resident was finally able to enter her home just outside McAllen after days of being without electricity. The force of the wind blew a power pole over, which blocked entry into her home. Electricity has been restored to the area but the electrical pole remains resting in front of the door. The resident was able to enter her home only to find that all of the clothes inside her closet were wet and molded. Now, she has to contact the Salvation Army and Red Cross to see if she can find clothes to wear to work. The owner of the property has to repair the pole before the resident can regain access to her home. In the meantime, she is staying with friends and family wearing the only three changes of clothes she has left. If anyone has suggestions to help this lady, please respond to this discussion.
