When do you get your salary/payment for work

My salary is paid monthly and I have to pick it up at the accounts section on the last day of the month. I usually pick it up a couple of days late and put it in the bank in a few days. I get paid cash in hand - no direct bank deposit or check.
How do you pick up your salary? Is it monthly or weekely? Do you get it on the first of the month or on the last day?

I am paid weekly and its always on a Thursday. Its nice because I am paid frequently and because unlike most people I don't have to fight lines at the bank. My money is directly deposited onto a prepaid Visa which is also convenient. Its always there on a Wednesday night/Thursday morning. The only complaint I have is the astronomical fees they charge at the ATM's to take out your own money.

Since I work mostly online and by freelancing the only steady paycheck I get is mylot on the 15th of every month or there abouts. :) Having a steady paycheck is nice - if only mylot paid me more!!
