Why do we need to serve others?

As what others may say to be a good leader one needs to be a good server too.But ever wonder why ?For me it's a feeling of fulfillment to serve others and in return a simple thank you would really mean a world.What do you think can you think of serving others if you can't even finish your own daily chores?

It is a good feeling to do something for someone else,and although im not into waiting hand foot and finger on anyone,it does make me feel quite happy if I have done something nice for someone.If we all took time out and did things for each other then im sure the world would be a better place,as by giving of yourself it teaches you such a lot.
